How on earth did a "NICE JEWISH GOYUL" like me fall in love with chanting Hare Krishna, Om Nama-Shivaya, and many other chants from other faiths?
I remember long passover seders with my family singing late into the night. A seder was never complete until we sang every song in the back of the book. (Hagadah)
I know my kids are embarrassed to sit next to me in Synagogue...I get so lost sometimes I hardly know how loud I am. I never considered singing in Synagogue "CHANTING", until I was introduced to my Guru Swami Satchidananda. His motto is:
"Truth is One, Path's are Many."
I have spent alot of time at the Satchidananda Ashram-Yogaville (www.yogaville.org) chanting to all different faiths. There are many different names for G-d ....it's ALL G-D and it's all good!
Over the past 8 years I've chanted with Jai Uttal, Wah, Bhagavan Das, and many others.
I have spent alot of time with Krishna Das (www.krishnadas.com), my most favorite Kirtanist EVER. He has taught me so much about raising the vibration in a room, and then sitting in that "stillness". I am forever grateful for that. It's all about the good vibes!
Thank you K.D.
I am the Director of Camp Yogaville.

A week long sleep away camp at the Satchidananda Ashram. I feel very fortunate to be able to chant with the children on a daily basis.
I lead chanting at Springfest and Magnolia festival on the Suwanee river before daily yoga classes. (www.musicliveshere.com)
I used to lead monthly Kirtans when I had my own Yoga Studio, but those days are long gone so welcome to a new era....I'm staying home. And when you see our yard you will understand why!
Check out my schedule and bring a friend. You will experience a type of bliss you might not have known existed!
Om Shanti,
